Ethics First
Running an ethical business is something we strive to do in every choice we make. We aim to give back to the community in whatever ways we can, and set standards that ensure our work centres all the values we teach in our own sessions, because we believe it’s important to live by your values and practise the inclusivity you preach.

We may be a small company, but we pledge 1% of all our invoices to charity as standard, and have done since our very first job. Our charity for Autumn/Winter 2024 is the Anthony Walker Foundation.
-
We aim to make our web content accessible to as many people as possible. We’ve invested in an accessibility toolbar for our website, put subtitles on all of our videos, and are continually working to improve our alt texts on our social media accounts.
Our work to improve our accessibility is ongoing, and you can find out more about our Web Accessibility project here.
In the meantime, if you notice that something we are doing is not accessible to you or another community, please contact us and we will do our best to change it.

We believe in paying fairly and making sure there’s a fair exchange for people’s time and work.
All of our independent guest contributors on the blog have been offered payment for their articles (some have opted to donate to charity instead). Where we’ve partnered with another organisation to swap articles, we make that clear so there’s never a conflict of interest.
All internships are paid living wage, and any contractors we work with receive a fair hourly rate for their work.
-
We offer free community resources, including our blog (which will never be behind a paywall) and educational videos on our social media.
